Density know-how®

Combining the most advanced components in the technology sector in an active safety system: Density know-how®. Thanks to this advanced technology, our generators will be part of tomorrow's connected security. Discover some of the advanced technology components that make Density Fog Generators® innovative, high-performance equipment for the security market.

// Patent

An innovative, patented turbo pump

The pump used in Density® is a double vane «turbo pump» for which we have filed a patent. Unlike conventional diaphragm pumps, this pump revolutionises fog generators, offering greater precision in terms of flow rate, production time and reliable performance (adjustable down to the second). It is particularly well suited to more viscous liquids (such as glycol).

The power required to use this pump on the back-up batteries in the event of a power cut will be much lower, completely eliminating the need for premature battery changes. The decision to develop a «turbo pump» means that high performance can be maintained even in the event of a power cut or sabotage attempt.

// Electrical protection

Inputs protected by optocouplers (galvanically isolated)

All 4 inputs used to control the Density Fog Generator® inputs are protected by optocouplers, ensuring high reliability and protection of the electronic board in the event of overvoltage. These inputs are also galvanically isolated for maximum safety when connecting the various electronic equipment.

When the intruder alarm control unit is connected to the Fog Generator Density® to control arming and triggering, you need to ensure a protected 100 % electronic connection between these two devices. Why do you need this?

This is because the optocouplers will form a barrier that will make it impossible for the 2 electronic systems to potentially mix (12 / 24 V).

// Programming

Shooting time setting programmable to the second

Our range of Generators is equipped with a system for adjusting the fog production time by the second up to the maximum firing time. This system is a real advantage, as you can now better adapt the quantity of fog to the area you want to protect.

Use the fog production time setting table in the installation manual to find out exactly how much fog you need to protect your premises in m³, depending on the Density generator.® you want to install.

Better management of firing time also helps you save refill fluid by optimising fog production. So your refills last longer.

// Autonomy

One 12 VDC - 300 mA output

Each of the generators in our range has a 12 VDC output to supply additional external peripherals for stand-alone fog installations, for example, without having to connect to an intruder alarm.

You could also consider connecting your Fog Generator to your cameras or video recorders to use the presence detection of intelligent video software that detects the posture or action of malicious individuals.

Thanks to this additional 12 VDC - 300 mA output, you can connect your generators to a global installation and gain both autonomy and overall performance.

// Anti false alarm

A separate powered input dedicated to the volumetric confirmation sensor (PIR)

Density Fog Generators® have been designed to be high-performance and easy to install and use, which is why each of the generators in the range has a separate 12V input dedicated to the volumetric sensor (PIR).

An external PIR sensor can be connected directly to the generator to confirm intrusion and prevent false alarms and nuisance tripping.

// Easier anti-aggression

A separate input dedicated to the PANIC button in anti-aggression mode

The Density range® Fog Generators comply with the EN50131-8:2019 standard, so they can be installed in all categories of establishments open to the public to effectively protect your premises from burglaries and daytime assaults.

To protect against attacks during the day, you can install a panic button (anti-attack button). A separate input allows you to connect a panic button which, once activated, will override the conventional generator installation to provide immediate fog protection against daytime attacks.

// GTB & Density®

3 serial outputs

The electronic board on our generators contains 3 serial outputs that can be used to connect the generator to other BMS (Building Management System), BMS (Centralised Technical Management System) and other home automation systems.

The dialogue via these 3 serial outputs is bidirectional, which means that your generator, like the systems to which it is connected, will be able to exchange information. Your generator can be fully integrated into your security chain, however comprehensive it may be. Gain in efficiency and ingenuity to protect yourself and your business against malicious criminals who are increasingly imaginative in hijacking conventional security systems.
