A powerful Density HP14000 IP fog machine mounted on an industrial pillar, projecting a huge, dense cloud of white smoke that instantly fills the entire space and reaches the ceiling of a large logistics warehouse, as a technician looks on.

Warehouses: the world’s most powerful fog generators

For years, the use of fog generators to protect warehouses faced a simple technical problem: the devices available on the market were not designed for spaces measuring several thousand cubic metres with ceiling heights of 8 to 12 metres. It was possible to protect an executive office, a secure room or a server room — but not the main area of a logistics warehouse.

Le Density HP14000 IP has changed the game. With 14,000 m³ of fog produced in 200 seconds and an effective range of up to 12 metres in height, It is now the most powerful fog machine in the world.

The issue of warehouse security in France

The boom in e-commerce has led to a proliferation of medium- and large-scale warehouses in industrial and suburban areas. These premises share several characteristics that make them prime targets:

Large stocks that are easy to resell. Household appliances, clothing, accessories, computer equipment…

Limited staff presence at night. It is rare to find warehouses that are staffed around the clock. Most rely on electronic detection and remote surveillance systems.

Large areas that are difficult to fill. This was the long-standing technical hurdle. Before the HP models, it would have taken numerous 2400 IP generators to power a standard warehouse — a cost and installation complexity that were simply too much to bear. See the Warehouses and storage facilities page for the full recommendation.

The Density HP14000 IP: what «the world’s most powerful» actually means

14,000 m³ of fog in 200 seconds. A single unit replaces the equivalent of six generators 2,400 IP, along with the savings on installation, maintenance and electrical infrastructure that this entails.

Ceiling height of up to 12 metres. No other fog generator on the market achieves this vertical range.

Very low power consumption per cubic metre of protected space. On a per-cubic-metre equivalent basis, the HP14000 consumes significantly less energy than the combined output of several mid-sized units.

Native IP card with Density cloud. The HP14000 IP can be monitored remotely via the Density cloud. A remote monitoring operator can monitor the device’s status, carry out functional tests and trigger the system remotely without the need for physical intervention on site.

No traces, no residues: essential for food warehouses

Density fog is certified non-toxic and has the FCMs certification (Food Contact Materials), which authorises its use in the presence of foodstuffs. Once the product has dissipated, there is no need to check, discard or decontaminate any stored goods. See the full certifications.

The bus network system: covering a complex warehouse

Most warehouses have separate areas: receiving bays, picking areas, secure storage areas for sensitive goods, and management offices. The Bus networking system Density devices allow multiple generators to be connected to a single network, with coordinated or zoned activation depending on the intrusion configuration. Find all the technical details at Communication and Cloud page.

In summary: a complex warehouse can be covered by a network of HP14000, 2400 IP and 390 (for sensitive areas and offices), all managed from a single interface via the Density cloud.

Conclusion

Warehouse security using fog generators has entered a new era with the Density HP14000 IP. For the first time, a single device can protect areas that previously could only theoretically be covered by a large-scale installation comprising multiple generators. FCMs certification, monitoring via cloud IP, and its optimised energy consumption make it the go-to solution for logistics, food and industrial warehouses.
